With the St George cross as the pubs logo, its only fitting that St George Illawarra footy games be played here. The very stylish British Crown Hotel comprises of many areas and can cater for almost any type of function, especially viewing sport. It consists of a sports bar with a large projector screen and surround sound, a beer garden with a plasma and a function room with another large projector and surround sound. There are a total of 14 screens in the venue therefore if its able to cater for every sports clash possible.

Tram 86 – Travels from Etihad Stadium on Latrobe St in the City, (Southern Cross Station), along Spencer St and then onto Bourke St, (Parliament Station), along Nicholson St, Carlton, along Gertrude St and Smith St, Collingwood, (BRITISH CROWN – tram stop 15, walk south along Smith St for 100m), then onto Queens Pde and High St, Northcote, (100m west of Westgarth Station), and continues along High St, (Northcote Town Hall), until it turns off onto Plenty Rd in Preston, (Latrobe University), and ends at on the corner of Plenty Rd and Mckimmies rd, Bundoora, (RMIT East Campus)
Tram 24 – Travels from Latrobe St, West End, City , along Latrobe St, (Flagstaff Station), (Melbourne Central), then onto Victoria St, City, (St Vincents Plaza) and along Victoria St into East Melbourne, (Smith St), (BRITISH CROWN - tram stop 15, walk 60m north along Smith St) and along Victoria St into Richmond (Richmond North Station), until it reaches Burnley St, (Victoria Gardens) where it turns into Barkers Rd and then High St, Kew, (Kew Junction) and then onto Doncaster Rd where the line ends in North Balwyn
